Image Swapping

<aside> 💡 Honk uses image-swapping instead of rigging. To animate your character, you just redraw you character's mouth and it swaps the image!

Character Creation

• Open the "characters" folder
• Run the "Make New Character.bat" file
• Rename the "New Character X" folder it generates
• Add your images to the images folder: "Your Character Name/images/"
• Relaunch HONK

Image Importing

Place your images here:

"characters/Your Character Name/images"

Adding Layers

• Click the + icon
• Select the image you'd like to spawn
• Boop! It's there!

<aside> 💡 Ctrl+S to save changes

Sorting Layer

Set the sorting Layer of your character by clicking on the eye-icon. This will let you control what displays on top vs on bottom.

Lipsync / Visemes
